Wow has it been that long?

So I guess it has been a while sinc I posted here. Well shit does have a habit of happening and stuff. So, I was in Boston, yea I kind of hated there. So I did a contract in seattle wa. Not exactly a old house Mecca but I loved it there. I figure I can be into antique houses anywhere except for perhapse California where despite things like a sweet steampunk scene, the winchster house, awsome btw. And all of SF. It’s still california and well that kind of sucks. So onto bigger and better stuff. I managed to find work after Seattle at GEMedical. If you are not into the whole megacirp culture it probably won’t be your speed, it really was not mine. So I am mow finishing a contract back in Chicago. Where I learned something today. When it comes to my job, I cannot be paid not to care. I like small to medium places where I get to be that guy. Huge places where i am just another green badge with an sso number. I am really not that.

So, now I getting ready to return perminantly to seattle. I love it there. You might be wondering about the whole rain thing. Well it might friggen rain but no monsoon no snow and no brutally effing cold. Fuck the cold I will not miss freezing my ass off. Actually when it comes to things I won’t miss around here I will have to save that for another post. As for house blogging, I am no where near done. Yea we need to emergency sell this place, yea Seattle has like 5 old houses. But I an still me and this time instead of fix old house I plan to build old house from the ground up, and finally have square plumb walls like civilized folk. Also I figure this will be a greate place to post up travle cooking and steampunk advenbtures as u have them..
